β€œKitchen Sink” Hand Salve (unscented, cat-safe ingredients)

1-1/2 Tablespoons tallow (I used 1 Tablespoon deodorized tallow, 1/2 Tablespoon hand-rendered tallow, which was a bit harder)
2 Tablespoons palm oil (using up what's on hand. One could use beef tallow in place of palm)
1 Tablespoon cocoa butter (I like that better than the shea butter)
1/2 oz beeswax
1 Tablespoon olive oil

Heat ingredients together in a double-boiler on low heat, then pour into a jar.

Store in refrigerator to help slow down bacterial growth.

@DoomsdaysCW if sustainable palm oil isn’t available, room solid coconut oil is what my soap company uses for our salves instead of tallow or palm. Soy wax blends really well too. Adding some Vit E (Tocopherol) will give you an antioxidant and skin benefits, but will not help with anti microbial activity, which can be dangerous for a product that will get touched multiple times. Coconut oil will fix that for you though.
@MissConstrue @DoomsdaysCW I add tea tree oil to my salves.

I would be cautious if using it around cats, @Darkphoenix . Tea tree is one of those oils that is bad for kitties.
