That time that I experimented with making a hasselback potato to see if I wanted to serve them at Christmas dinner. Ultimately the decision was made that while spectacular, it was totally not worth the effort. #food
@strange_child If I recall, I spritzed it with oil down into the interior of the slices. It yielded a crispy layer on the surface of them but still tender inside. It was indeed yummy, but not much yummier than any old oven roasted potato and took 10X the work.
