A lot of people in the comment section for Firefox mentioned a new browser currently under development called Ladybird. I checked its repository, and it says: 'Ladybird is in a pre-alpha state and only suitable for use by developers.'

PS: I don't know much about the devs or team behind it but they already seems to have a big sponsors like Cloudflare https://ladybird.org/

@nixCraft Unfortunately the lead dev is very regressive which has been documented and is driving people away from the project

Ladybird and the Controversy over Inclusivity

What people were upset about, why it blew up, and why some people are still leery of the project to this day.

@Eliot_L @nixCraft in summary: Someone created a pull request to make some wording more gender neutral and someone denied that PR calling it “personal politics.”
@duco @nixCraft There's more than that, receipts if you read the whole article I posted. It seems he's also a Charlie Kirk and DHH stan. Also I don't see a request to not assume the person reading the docs is male is political, but he seems to think so.
@Eliot_L oh, okay, I missed the update section. So apparently Kling doesn't think that Charlie Kirk was a Nazi and celebrates Kirk for peaceful discussions, which would maybe have been a fair point, if Kirk wouldn't have died by the violence promoted by himself. And if someone else besides me wonders what "stan" means, it's "overly obsessed fan" according to the urban dictionary. I don't see the obsession, but it's save to say, that Andreas Kling is on the political right wing.
@duco @Eliot_L I dont understand the modern apparent concept of it not being possible to respect someone despite disagreeing with someone about something. FOSS will forever become properly mainstream if folks cant work around these things. I’m not saying some of these topics arent sensitive but imo labelling Ladybird as a fascist project is short sighted.
@ahpadt @duco I didn't say the project was fascist but maybe it is. However I believe someone who thinks being inclusive of women and nonbinary folks is "political" is going to foster a toxic environment that is ultimately hostile to those folks. So I can't in good conscience be a cheerleader for projects like that unless those leaders either make amends with the community or are replaced.
@Eliot_L @duco If a software project chooses to not spend development efforts on DEI-esque topics, does not make it fascist.
@ahpadt @duco So in your mind it's acceptable for projects to willfully exclude women and nonbinary folks? I will never agree that's ok.
