My position on this goes way beyond bag v sack or sneakers v tennis shoes.
One is ALL I ever heard until I was 34, and the other is an insane thing people from Rhode Island say.
Anyhow.
I think this Christmas ornament is WAY too big and complicated and looks more like an unintentional Nativity.

(the store was out of ornament hooks so I printed some)

A couple years ago I made an ornament out of a Bambu .4 stainless nozzle from before I knew how to use wood filament.
It even smells like Christmas!
Nothing says Christmas quite like a Vulcan dying from radiation poisoning, which makes the Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan Mr. Spock and Captain Kirk The Needs of the Many Ornament the perfect yuletide decoration for the tree of every Trekker. It was probably the most traumatic scene that any Star Trek fan has
@hotdogsladies A local church has an event each year called The Creche that includes a display of “hundreds of nativity scenes”
Sometimes when we drive past that church or see a nativity somewhere in the wild, my wife or I will whisper to the other…
“hundreds”
(*hundreds*, you guys)
@hotdogsladies My mom collected nativity scenes for a while. Even had a plastic VeggieTales one.
My exposure to the word creche was in Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.
I thought that word came from the French infinitive verb for eating (as in cattle, etc.) but Siracusa says I'm probably wrong. 😔
