Dennis WilkinsonDay 15 is one from a Highland distillery I haven't heard of before, a Nc'Nean no age statement "organic single malt" at 46% ABV. Apparently matured in a combination of American whiskey and red wine barrels, and finished a bit in sherry casks.

Oak and something sharp I can't place on the nose; chocolate, toffee, warm spices, and… pineapple? peach? on the palate; with more oak and a bit of ginger heat on the finish. Bit sweet for me, but tasty regardless.
Tonight was more of the bookbinding project (edge painting one of the text blocks I trimmed and rounded last night), then another session of the FrizzLit Moby Dick book club, the former of which turned into the backdrop for the photo tonight.

30YrdScreamer@djwtwo I have a bottle of MacLean's Nose as a present to open Christmas Day. Looking forward to trying it as it seems quite well regarded and I've not had it before.
