For the First Time, AI Analyzes Language as Well as a Human Expert

If language is what makes us human, what does it mean now that large language models have gained “metalinguistic” abilities?

If we can accept that all language is symbolism to describe and summarize material reality, Ai may be doing very well in being trapped at the symbolic level of understanding, totally blind to what the material world behind this symbolism is. It is like being trapped in the illusion of a scenario and unable to escape from the script.

You may know all there is to know about the Black Mamba, down to its dna code, but till it bites you in the ass you will not know the pain.
