i wanted to talk about everyone of my ships and blorbos and some headcanons so here i am, a thread.

let's talk about blorbo number one (not a order of preference but i take them as they come haha)

jiang cheng (mdzs)

the fandom made me feel in love with him, i remember watching the show and discovering wang zhuo cheng and i think he gave him so much softness and depth.
the book made me realise how his responsibilities as a sect leader forced him into every single one of his choice. we can see how much he wants to fight against this but just can't. the fandom gave him so little credit on trying hard to do so..
for me he represents the unsolvable clash between his loyalty for wei wuxian and his duty as he has so little possibility to take his own decision. he is a (future) sect leader and has to bear the weight of it.

and on a less deep note i love a good old angry man. i will always love writing him. he is just so funny to write. a good escape to the seriousness of life. i love taking his reactions as entertainment but i also feel they are deeper than just that.

scaramouche (genshin impact)

might be a bit of spoilers as i talk about his past/present but it all took place during an old patch so it should be ok? i'm pretty they hide this in a event that people will never watch again, thanks mihoyo

he is my favourite is the entire game. his story is just so well written with so many parallels to aether story. his destiny is so out of him like we could say he is the opposite of the hero's destiny. all his actions are a result of him not having a si gle soul reliable nor trustworthy. it's so so so frustrating seeing people hating as he is just a product of total absence of consideration feom all the people he put his belief into.

i love writing him because i find myself writing my own anger and frustration about a world that never let me scream that i exist.
i think he is so detestable to people because he is always expressing his anger and people hate that (lol, i had so much to say about this one)
it's always weirs to me how people love to hate those who struggle and face injustice after injustice.

i'm often puzzled about how many characters i sympathise with because they express deep and dark humans' emotions. and because, well, they make mistakes big mistakes and have catastrophic violent behaviours. that is kind of comforting to me. and it's not like he is not conscious of this himself. like he is well written because he has to deal with his own personal story.

i wasn't very happy with the amnesia thing/trope because, to me it's like they wanted to bypass the story and do a short cut but the story they wrote before that was still heartbreaking and i think about it a lot

again the lore is kinda old in the game now like dozens of patches ago but it's not spoiler free.

ok so i love them so much they are so sun/moon coded like one belongs to the light the other to the darkness and they both have a cycle of event to deal with. both have people pushing them to be good at all cost and bad at all cost. they arrived in teyvat without anyone but one was granted the title of the hero while the other became the scapegoat of a actual god?? and then of every single person he met.

it's so frustrating seeing them together and them being the reminder for each other for what they could have been. one being outcasted,seeing one that was assigned hero at birth and the other seeing what his life could have been as an outsider in teyvat.

they are so tasty because they is so many parallels to make AH
