I’m looking to create my own self-hosted ‘drive’ on my Synology NAS. I’d store my files, primarily, plus photos/videos. I’d like to have easy remote access that doesn’t require too many hoops.

I’m overwhelmed by all the options out there. If you have had a good experience with any of them, I’m open to recommendations and tips. Big thanks! 😊

@pax0707 hey thanks. I have a Synology NAS, but I’m waiting to consider all options and see what folks prefer. :) I updated my post so that’s more clear.

@britt their Drive solution is solid and has been working great for me.
Both localy and remotely (if you decide to connect you NAS to their service, or alternatively you can use VPN).
