Hmm, ya know, I don't see a lot of abandoned buildings, and I guess I don't have any sense of the decay process.

I think it was in a poor state before it closed, probably already leaking roof. Then the lead likely for pinched, a common thing to happen!

My photo here was only a couple of years ago, now most of the roof have caved in at the side! Once the roof starts to go, it can decline so fast

@ObsidianUrbex And I live in silicon valley, where the "old" buildings are from the 1950s.

Oh yea, deffo we have a different definition this side of the pond. I just bought a school that was built in 1880. Strangely after being derelict for 15 years it's better condition then the church 🤣
