The young adults had massive burgers, onion rings and loaded fries with steak and cheese. I had not thought about what I would eat, if I was more organised I would have given it more thought.

What I made for myself turned out pretty good. I made a sweet potato pizza base (sweet potato, rice flour, baking powder and coconut oil) part baked, then put puréed kidney beans as the base, then lots of mushrooms and sweetcorn. I had more veg, but I forgot to add it 🙄 and swede chips.

@alexisbushnell thank you, I’ve been vegan since 2009 and was a vegan cook in a health food shop 😊 but I keep getting new allergies and find it even more difficult to prep and cook.

At first I thought it was perimenopause, but now seems likely to be MCAS and histamine intolerance. The kids are vegan too, and while I’m eliminating I’m cooking separately, it’s just too much, trying to figure everything out.

The brain fog is immense at the moment.

@Counterfeit_Joy urgh I feel that. I appear to be possibly starting with MCAS (thanks long COVID) so also need to be switching up diet but brain fog and having so much other stuff on means it's bottom of the list
@alexisbushnell sorry you’re going through it too, I feel like I’m learning all over again, but also don’t really retain any of it. Then my diet becomes limited because of this and exhaustion, which just feeds into everything else.
