Start of the project.

I'm making a top down sweater with a European shoulder.

Doing just stripes didn't blend / fade nicely enough so I'm adding a bit of texture at the color changes to blur it further. I think that works nicely.

Now on to write down some notes or I will forget what I've done so far ...

I've finished the "yoke" - sleeve sts are on hold, the v neck is done, now on to knitting on the round. It's also time for the next color switch.

The math has worked out quite nicely, I'm very pleased. And the fit looks good as well. I think I'll add a tiny bit of waist shaping and then flare out for the hips. The initial plan had been to work straight down, but it's going to be rather long so I want a bit of fit.

I'm at the fourth color now - one more change section and then the final color.

Things have worked out pretty neat for the waist shaping - I made a few decreases in the third single color section, then straight through the change and now increases until the next change.

I tried it on yesterday and I'm very pleased with the fit so far.

Colors are pretty true in this picture.

Homestretch for the body - I'm now separating front and back for the hem.

If I do the whole color sequence for the sleeves, they will be too long by a bit - body below arms will end up a bit longer than 50 cm, sleeves need to be about 44 / 45 cm.

Not quite sure, what to do. I really want to keep the whole sequence.

@FanCityKnits Can you shorten the stockinette sections to fit?
@nasamuffin @FanCityKnits
I agree, shorten each colour a couple of rows won't be terribly obvious, but should work
