BBC: { Antisemites frequently use the word 'Zionist' (or worse, 'Zio'), when they are in fact referring to Jews, whether in lsrael or elsewhere. }

Why would an antiSemite do that? All antiSemites I know of say "Jews" because they hate every single Jew. Just like Hitler did.

BBC: { Those claiming to be "anti-Zionist, not antisemitic" should do so in the knowledge that many Jewish people consider themselves to be Zionists. }

Which is what I do, PRECISELY because not every Jew (I have Jewish roots) is a Zionist.

BBC: { If these individuals mean only to criticise the policies of the government of Israel, and have no intention to offend Jewish people, they should criticise "the Israeli government", and not "Zionists". }

Israel calls itself a democracy. The Israeli govermnent was elected by Zionists. And the crimes against humanity ordered by said government committed by Zionists are supported by Zionists all over the world, including non-Jews like Trump, Starmer, Merz and Macron.

Every Zionist (including non-Jews), not every Jew, is the problem at hand.
