Just finished Metroid Prime 4, very good game. I do have some key issues with it, probably the same as everyone else but how much weight you put on it says a lot about what type of gamer you are. To me, the overworld was slightly annoying, but it doesn't really detract from the gameplay. If you aren't a completionist, you won't spend a lot of time there, just on the way to each level. The dialog is very bland, and doesn't detract from the gameplay. 1/2

So the worst part of the game is really just collecting crystals. They do make sure you don't have to collect 100% of them to finish the game, you can actually ignore them until the very end like I did. It doesn't seem to be well communicated in the game so I suspect this will really be what kills the game for a lot of people. Other than that, with 100% items, the final boss fight is cake, I kinda wish it was more challenging, but it is very badass. 2/2

I don't think it gets any more badass than fighting your arch nemesis in (on?) a black hole. The final sequence has some truly amazing visuals. This game is just the right amount of weird scifi shit that I love. Just on aura alone, I could say this game is a 10/10 for me, but all things considered, I'd lower it to around a 9/10. Between the minor annoyances, and the disappointingly easy final boss, I can't say it's perfect.
