There must be, somewhere, a nation which wants its citizenry to be happy and productive.
Surely it can't be sociopaths all the way down, can it?
@dgentry I believe sociopaths are rare, but strongly over-represented in leadership and power roles. The choices a person has to be comfortable making in order to accumulate and hold vast wealth and power form a gradient that seems to select for it. I do not think a healthy, well-integrated person can become and remain a billionaire, for example.
Some days it feels like sociopaths are the norm.
