3/4 cup (150g) sugar
1/4 cup (28g) cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
*6 large egg yolks*
2 cups (480ml) whole milk
1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
2 tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

@alexanderdyas I did'nt actually read through the steps, but if I remember correctly from my vocational school, you should probably search to find the complete recipe. There is a trick with temperature as you whisk in the yolks, hot enough to thicken, not so hot that you get lumps of egg-yolk. @TheBreadmonkey
