It's good to see that HP has released some linux software for BIOS updates of their business desktops and laptops, for models since around 2017. That's a step forward. Now, I'd like to see them release linux software for BIOS updates of their consumer desktops and laptops.

@drdusty It's crazy that we still have to ask for such basic functionality for linux in 2025! Especially from big companies like hp.
