@jonhicks this is not an apple to apple comparison. Spotify has a free tier. Apple Music does not. If you take away a free option and offer only paid options, many people will simply not listen to it. The increase in income for the artist is most definitely not going to be the number quoted. Depending on circumstances, it’s even possible that that counterfactual yields a decrease.
