“If everyone who streamed All Hell on Spotify had done so using Tidal instead, we would have received an extra £31,847.38, which would double the amount we made from streaming of the album in this time period. Or if everyone used Apple Music it would have been £12,331 more.”

Los Campesinos! break down streaming royalties. In other news, Fuck Spotify.

@jonhicks what about Qobuz? I suppose something around 6x spotify
@Volpit @jonhicks I switched from Tidal to Qobuz this year, primarily to benefit the artists I stream. So, I'd like to see this comparison, too, in case I was wrong.
@BoydStephenSmithJr @Volpit @jonhicks me three... since the streaming service itself is not really my cup of tea, I really hope the royalties are going where they should go
@lumiukko @BoydStephenSmithJr @Volpit Yes Qobuz would slightly more than Tidal. Qobuz is also not beholden to SF tech bros, but I struggle to get on with that interface.
