Kevin C 🎬A lavish production set in a crowded late 19th century London, this #movie tells the gothic noir tale of an investigation into series of gruesome murders, along with the trial of an actress accused of murdering her husband who might be the serial killer.
What should be a twisted tale is undercut by an oversimplified investigative mechanic of handwriting comparison that overtakes the plot early on, but the terrific acting and layered atmosphere save this #film. 👍
