Feodora 🐈⬛(🐈)🐾🐾😺(😺)@nordpirat ah. Enjoy. We have bookcrossing meet ups on a regular basis on the second Tuesday of a month. Sometimes we 3 to 5 persons and sometimes we are about 10 or more. Books are good reason to meetj but we mostly talk about other themes. Even when I don't want any of the books I take always some of them so they can start of trip.
@feodora Sounds much like our meet-ups. Yes, I sometimes do that too with books. Bit less than usual right now though, cause I really need to get rid of large quantities of books atm.
@nordpirat I take them to books boxes here in town or some I take with me for holidays or at least when I'm going to my parents place. Even there they have a book box on the market place
@feodora Those are great ideas! I've released books on some trips, but sadly fallen out of the habit in the last years (except for the bc convention in April). On our meet-ups in Stockholm we've had shelves available in the meet-up cafés, but café shelves are getting fewer, more often we have to take all books with us when leaving and put them in book swap shelves around the city. Will you be attending the convention in S:t Albans? I have a ticket, and hope for an un-con in Oslo in May as well.
