I have always wanted to make a movie/show tracking app. I love movies. I love watching them, logging them, consuming them, everything to do with them. So I made my own.

Available via TestFlight now, and coming to the App Store soon!

@JPEGuin well presented app. The obvious question (at least to me) is whether you are going to add Trakt support?

@acetuk @JPEGuin +1 from me too. Without Trakt it’s a non starter. I can’t face setting up everything from scratch.

What would be epic though is Simkl support. That platform is crying out for a decent iOS app.

@richardwarriner Noted, thanks!
@JPEGuin @richardwarriner the app looks great and I too would like a Trakt /Letterboxd integration. Even more, if you're still into the fediverse, I recently discovered NeoDB where you can track pretty much anything, so integrating that would be awesome, though note sure how easy it would be to narrow it to just movies and series.
@acetuk Planning to for sure!
@JPEGuin looks cool but i’m a bit confused why the actual tracking and logging is hidden away behind … menus?
@Joekw You can also drag the poster in detail views left and right
@JPEGuin how about the watchlist and currently watching?
@Joekw They're accessible via the nav bar buttons in the movie and shows tabs.
@JPEGuin yeah… i’m asking why they’re hidden behind the … buttons
@JPEGuin any hopes for a more iPad friendly update?
@DavidNielsen Maybe in the near future!
@JPEGuin Very well done as always!

@JPEGuin I have already said that trakt integration would be essential for me but I do have some other observations

I really like the look of the app so would be keen to use it

It feels a little skewed to discovery and trending while the tracking and watchlist is kind of hidden away.

When using an app like this 99% of my usage is checking in so I would like to be able to bring the watchlist front and centre and relegate discovery. (1/2)

I tend to discover new shows through other channels and less so in apps.

I am currently using Rippple which gets this balance just right (2/2)
