Big fan of this KanjiTalk 6 aesthetic. The brutalist sparseness of System 6 before they added the little 3D touches and proper color icons, and the uncomfortably oversized fonts used to fit the detail needed to show readable Kanji causing everything to feel a bit cramped and misaligned. #mb
@kalleboo is my ResEdit muscle memory out, or could you adjust a resource in the Finder for icon spacing?
@europlus @kalleboo There's an app called "Layout" that lets you adjust the icon spacing on System 6: https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/layout-19
@smallsco @europlus @kalleboo Did Layout get bought by Semantic and was added to Norton Utilities v2? Or was that their own utility that provided options to Finder customization?

@helix_nrg @europlus @kalleboo Oh, that's right! Norton Utilities 2.0 came with “Layout Plus”, which did the same thing (and I think it added some additional customizations as well): https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/norton-utilities-20

I don't know the answer with certainty, but based on the name I would guess that they bought the original Layout.
