I realized that the patterning of this shawl is a bit hard to see on the light background. So, I've also made a picture with it spread out on my lap, while wearing dark-colored pants. Pretty right?! 😊

@lnr Thank you! 😊

@LaVisch I'm currently working on this one :)

cirkels - La Visch Designs

The side-ways knit Cirkels shawl design was inspired by the bold circle (“cirkel” in Dutch) featured in the border.

@lnr Woohoo! I can’t wait to see your version! 😃

@LaVisch it's done!

Full saga is on ravelry, but I had to knit it twice, having completely frogged it in May.

@lnr The result is lovely though! 😍
@LaVisch Thank you! It's a lovely pattern! (By the end I'd really got the hang of the lace :)
@lnr I’m happy to hear that! 😃
@lnr @LaVisch This is beautiful

@selene444 Thank you!

Knitting by me :)

@lnr @LaVisch @mothyandthesquid you are welcome ❤️. How long have you been doing this?

@selene444 Gosh, I learned to knit as a child, so we could say 40 years. But I only really learned to knit lace for a shawl kit:

which I bought in July 2022, and I've been knitting things using yarn from the Rainbow Yarn club since February 2024, so we could say 2-3 years.

This particular shawl took me 3 months, but I did have to knit it twice to get it right :)

@lnr wow, you’re really good at it❤️. I did go through some stuff on your profile and I saw about your grand-dad, my condolences 🙏
