German naval commander Heinz-Wilhelm Eck was commander of U-852 and was tried, convicted, and executed (along with 2 others deemed responsible) after the war because on March 13, 1944 he ordered his crew to shoot at survivors who were clinging to rafts and wreckage of the Greek merchant ship SS Peleus after sinking it with 2 torpedoes. Eck was trying to conceal the position of his submarine, and so ordered his men to fire into the wreckage and rafts to sink them.

An element that horrifies me, is the failure of Congress to act, and yes, I mean Mike Johnson. Yes, that Mike Johnson.
If he is not going to pull the US out of this position of being the overt bad guys, then the rest of Congress needs to deal with the Mike Johnson, problem.
Time to apply consequences to the people who are not performing their constitutional duties as counterweights within the balance of powers.
US authorities also freely commit piracy on land. Officials seize currency and other assets under the doctrine of asset forfeiture, and there is generally no way to get them to return those stolen goods. Nor is any judicial process involved.
In every way, our government is a ruthless stealing and killing machine. Which is slowly focusing more and more on its own citizens as well.
