~ How to make knife #sheaths that can be worn crosswise on the back? ~

This was quite a challenge, and while seeking inspiration online, I found almost nothing. Probably for a good reason, as this kind of combination is indeed uncomfortable to sew together. All the pieces must fit together in a specific order, and there is very little space to access tools in the work area.

Ideally, I would have wanted to make it just the right size to slide over the belt strap. I wouldn’t have thought of it— it turned out that the fasteners on this belt are not very easy to remove. Rather, in my view, a couple of clips need to be broken to do so. Therefore, in this specific case, the entire assembly has to fit over a fairly large buckle size. That’s why the width of this set can be adjusted with snaps after sliding it over the belt.
