Hi! My name is Krislyn and I am a #leatherartist , #leathercrafter based in Estonia. In addition to that I am also a #handcrafter as I use only #handtools for my #crafts.

This year's first project is this beautiful #leather #backpack !
While backpacks have graced the Leather Chamber before, none have ever been captured in a photograph. Elusive, aren't they? Yet, this particular style, featuring an extendable body, is being crafted here for the very first time.
Bag is adorned by hand carved and painted image.
Four nice #watches that are now even nicer as they all have beautiful new #leather straps. All straps are lined and stitched. Hand crafted out of vegetable tanned leather.

#Card #wallet is decorated by hand carved name (at least I think it is a name). There are five pockets in total (two on each side plus one in the middle). Fits at least ten #cards - but as vegtan may be adjusted in time, you may "train" it to fit probably some more :)
#Craft -ed out of vegetable tanned leather.
These green #leather #covers are #craft -ed for a children-garden teacher who has strength to cover two children-gardens - The Forestside and Birdsnest. So suitably these covers are decorated by an #oak #tree and a #bird sitting on it's #branch. Covers are made for a A5 size #notebook.

Ideally, I would have wanted to make it just the right size to slide over the belt strap. I wouldn’t have thought of it— it turned out that the fasteners on this belt are not very easy to remove. Rather, in my view, a couple of clips need to be broken to do so. Therefore, in this specific case, the entire assembly has to fit over a fairly large buckle size. That’s why the width of this set can be adjusted with snaps after sliding it over the belt.
~ How to make knife #sheaths that can be worn crosswise on the back? ~
This was quite a challenge, and while seeking inspiration online, I found almost nothing. Probably for a good reason, as this kind of combination is indeed uncomfortable to sew together. All the pieces must fit together in a specific order, and there is very little space to access tools in the work area.
Wrought for a #druid ’s keeping, this #bag bears upon its flap a gentle flourish of blooming angelica (Angelica archangelica) — a #herb sacred to healing and harmony.
The #leather remains true to its nature. I have not stained it with colour, only anointed it with oil and wax.
In time, such a finish deepens to a duskier hue and, upon its surface, gathers the marks of all that has passed — the journeys trodden, the seasons turned, and perhaps a trace of some deed worth remembering.

This is a recent work of mine. Quite large #box , #craft -ed out of #vegtan #leather and greyboard. This box features a beautiful #yggdrasil at it's center and some #curvy #carvings around it.
There is a date on the trunk of the tree - this box was commissioned to become a #wedding #gift
