Yes. Yes I am. It's awesome. (I am old enough to actually have written code in the eras where some of C++'s unfortunate design choices were made or inherited, which means I have context to enjoy the roasting even more)

@corgidad @isotopp I would 100% take C over C++ given the option to choose. Yeah, it means the programming equivalent of juggling flaming knives made out of chainsaws that also may explode, but at least it doesn't make any attempts to hide that so you're clear about how much excitement you're in for.
Plus it's easier to weld in code in better languages (like Rust or, say, Fortran) than C++. So yay? Ish?
