brandewinderI am so irritated to have "AI" forced down my throat every single day ("You don't want AI now? We'll ask you again tomorrow!") that, after switching to #GrapheneOS earlier this year, I am also actively evaluating ditching Windows for Linux Mint. How is it so hard for some people to understand consent / "no means no"?
Roofastronaut@brandewinder I switched to Linux Mint a few years ago, I started with a dual booted PC which is great for trying to transition, eventually I ended up just removing Windows because I stopped using it
@Roofastronaut at the moment I am booting from USB to confirm without risk that everything I need is actually working, so far so good - I am itching to switch already ;)
iogrt@brandewinder @Roofastronaut I'd say go for dual boot forever if you have the space. You lose nothing, I did that for years.
