It is a sauce-for-the-goose-sauce-for-the-gander moment when the decisions in U.S.A. v Letitia A. James and U.S.A. v James B. Comey Jr are both based in part on a 2024 ruling as to the constitutionality of the appointment of Jack Smith, that favoured #DonaldJTrump in U.S.A. v Trump.

It is Trump's own case that provides the rationale for voiding all of Lindsey Halligan's actions and restoring both James and Comey to never-indicted status.

At the time of writing, #Wikipedia's article on #LindseyHalligan has been partly, but incorrectly, updated. It currently states that Halligan was appointed as a "special attorney" in the James and Comey cases.

Seeing that there was no legal basis put forward for this retroactive appointment by #PamBondi, the decisions in the James and Comey cases also rule the "Attorney General’s attempts to ratify Ms. Halligan’s actions were ineffective and are hereby set aside".

Since everything that #LindseyHalligan attempted, during the months-long period xe was claimed to be a U.S.A. Attorney, has now legally turned to shit, one question is: what else has Halligan actually *done*?

Well, xe reportedly fired Maggie Cleary, Michael Ben’Ary, and Maya Song, for one thing. So there's the question of what their statuses are given that Halligan wasn't legally the U.S.A. Attorney at the time.
