My first girlfriend ran the bird show at a local zoo and we always had her favorite blue macaw around, which I thought was great. He'd often unlock his cage and greet us in bed in the morning with a chirpy Hello!

@SeaFury @futurebird most of the time I cannot comment about mine either, except for ALARM‼️at:
- white cars
- prams
- white hats
- huskies
Yet, even flying by crows and kestrels warrant only mild sounds of concern 🤷

We sometimes have a winter feeder and mourning doves (Zenaida macroura) will show up. They know my husband fills the feeder because I'm allergic to sunflower seeds (OK I don't think they know I'm allergic... you know what I mean) anyway. They can tell us apart. They will look at and fuss over him, not me.
One day they brought their whole extended family. But just for this one day. No idea what that was about.
Maybe their babies were fledgling? It was in late spring.
