Harry SintonenI'm no fan of #Rust by any measure, but I think it's unfair to blame Rust for the Cloudflare outage - Mistakes are language agnostic and very portable.
ehrenschwan@harrysintonen It was also because they unwrapped an error without checking. So this goes against everything that makes Rust good. This kind of code should only be used in testing or fast prototyping, but not in production.
