Holiday Season Reminders (by Dr. Michelle Gastón)

Hope it helps ...

@Natasha_Jay

these traditions we've been handed... smfh... thanks, NJ!

@Natasha_Jay I'm especially pleased to see that one about creating your own traditions.

A few Christmases ago, my wife found a recipe for a "non-traditional Christmas cake".

She made it, and we both thought it was awesome, so now it has become a firm tradition in our house to have a non-traditional Christmas cake for Christmas.

Very tasty, and with an added helping of paradox.

@Natasha_Jay

Omg I love this so much, thank you!❤️

@Natasha_Jay I love this! Thanks for sharing.
@Natasha_Jay thanks. I really hate the end of the year festivities, and there's some really good affirmations in there for me.

You are not alone. Me too. We can feel lots of unnecessary pressure which is why I thought this was good.
@Natasha_Jay being in a relationship with a Muslim woman has helped make last year's Christmas a lot more bearable (as in, not celebrating at all). However, her son being 13 makes New Year's a lot more difficult than it used to be. I'm absolutely not a fan of the fireworks either, but tell that to a 13 year old boy....
Suffice it to say, mulled wine and ginger bread are the only two things to carry me through December.
@Natasha_Jay Hello friends, I'm Rania and this is my 11-year-old son, Adi. He wants to go abroad and complete his education. His dream is to become an artificial intelligence engineer. I'm asking for your help in finding an organizer for my campaign, supporting it, and making it a success.
@Natasha_Jay I'll add one more: it's OK to feel festive on your own schedule. Don't shame people for getting into it 'too early. ' If they enjoy it, let them. If they're not ready, don't pressure them.
