Ernesto Acosta 🗯️@Dennislong82 @MonaApp Thinking this way is why many developers decide to remove the one-time payment and charge a subscription. Obviously, paying the full price might not be ideal, but I do believe it's fair to pay "something" for an update.
Applications like Reaper charge for the license again when they upgrade to a newer version, and that's how they continue to support their work.
If you don't want to pay, you can stay on version 6 and be done with it. Or would you prefer to pay a subscription?
@iam @MonaApp I expect to get what I paid for. I paid for pro max. If I paid for that the selling point was pay once and have no upgrade fees. I expect to get what was promised!!!! Again you think these things out prior to launch. You don't promise no upgrade fees if you plan on charging in the future.
@Dennislong82 @MonaApp I paid for the Pro Max and I don't recall that plan promising no additional cost for major upgrades. Do you have a screenshot that says something like that?
