@ChanceHMiller
Which flow did you go through at BWI?

Old Way:
1. Unlock iPhone and hold near reader
2. Reader automatically pulls up your state ID
3. iPhone shows Consent Sheet
4. Authenticate with to release ID info over BLE

New Way
1. Double-click side button to invoke Apple Pay
2. Tap stack of cards at bottom of screen
3. Tap on your ID
4. Then hold iPhone near reader
3. iPhone shows Consent Sheet
4. Authenticate with to release ID info over BLE

@peterpuleio I used the "New Way," exactly like it shows in Apple's video. I didn't realize they changed it, but I just naturally assumed to use it exactly how I use Apple Pay.

If I'm understanding it right, it sounds like the “Old Way" might've been more convenient? That's a weird change for sure.

@ChanceHMiller some new follow up on this and your discussion on Happy Hour today. I’m starting to think that Apple had to update their flow for using an ID at TSA because there now exists a conundrum: if you can use both your Digital ID or Driver’s License/State ID in Wallet at TSA, how do the TSA readers know which credentials to automatically request from the iPhone? The “New Way” now makes the user pick the ID they want to use with TSA.
