UNIX Fourth Edition tape found. No other complete copies are known to exist. What makes it unique? It is the first version in which the kernel was written in C lang. Wow!

Hans van Schoot@josephdickson @nixCraft I like to think they already have this policy, and this is the result of 2y work of sorting all data carriers. One pile is labelled "too old to still matter", the other is labelled "so old it belongs in a museum"
