Common FreeBSD commands vs. Linux

@nixCraft Since linux is gathering too much attention and M$ balls pretty badly, I have been thinking of migrating at some point to BSD... Well, not migrating from linux per se, but at least start getting it into my routines... So big ups for this cheatsheet :)

Btw, do you have any recommendations for BSD distros for a newbie in that ecosystem? As a background: I am using endeavour (basically arch) and gentoo (theonetrueditrso :P)

@nakdim @nixCraft people usually try GhostBSD on their desktops/laptops, first. It is FreeBSD based distro. Other people like OpenBSD on their machines, so it's a matter of preferences. I personally like vanilla FreeBSD on all machines. Anyway, experiment and ping if stuck.

As a FreeBSD person, this sheet will come handy in times I have to use Linux. Thank you!

@meka Thanks for the info! Will certainly ping you when I first run in to trouble or want more info :)
@nixCraft Wow, I used to have a similar Rosetta table that was listing FreeBSD package/ports solutions and their counterparts for various Linux distributions.
