Chris Wiegman

20 years ago today I drove away from our first place together as we began our move to Maui. I spent 3 days driving the car to Long Beach to ship it out and flew out myself a couple of days later.

I can’t believe it’s been 20 years.

@ericmann we left in 07 and I flew for a small airline while we were out there. Loved the islands.

@chris, at the newspaper I was their online editor. Effectively, headline writing and a lot of copy/paste of content from one system to another, preparing images for the web and sorting stories for the next day. All of that would be automated today. I think that newspaper has a newsroom of maybe a dozen people vs 8x that 20 years ago.
