@crazyeddie

This was entirely what I needed to wake up to this morning.

@RobotDiver @crazyeddie And it is exactly the plunge into the Absurd that I needed.

Sometimes the internet is good. 😄

@katzenberger Thank you!

I didn't think I'd ever know.

@crazyeddie @katzenberger I knew I've seen that face somewhere before lol. He's also done the Samsung washing machine tune.
@crazyeddie it's always so satisfying to see a master of their art working.

@crazyeddie I had no idea they came in different sizes. I wonder if he modified them to adjust the tones, or if not, how many he had to test to find the right notes.

Either way, it's delightful.

@moira
The video is fake. At spme time he makes a long note which is impossible; and there are other clues that sound and video does not match.
@crazyeddie

@xdej @moira Why are long notes impossible?

I'm thinking maybe you've never played with one of these? If you actually pushed it so hard that there was no air left after a short note you'd destroy it. It would rupture and/or the buzzer would get munged. I've destroyed a couple this way on purpose. It sounds like you really killed a chicken by stomping on it.

@Extelec @crazyeddie @rc2014 good lord thats magical.
@concretedog @Extelec @crazyeddie One man with 19 rubber chickens is cool... but I'd prefer to see 19 men with one rubber chicken each playing that song!
@crazyeddie
His serious determine expression in a tux makes this.
@crazyeddie "the silence of the hens"? 🫣
(As in "... Lambs")

@crazyeddie @RussSharek

Oh, now you’ve done it. Forever after, whenever I encounter a chicken of the rubber persuasion, I’ll always be wondering what note it plays, “Is that hen a middle C, or more of a B?” etc.

@darkmirror @crazyeddie

Isn't chicken of the C tuna?

(Was an old tuna add, called it chicken of the sea)

@crazyeddie That guy is always so funny

@crazyeddie

“Hello? Yes, do you have a rubber chicken in C#?”

@crazyeddie

Hello rubber-chicken, my old friend
I've come to listen to you again
Because a squeak softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the squeak that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence

@crazyeddie

A question I never in my life thought I would need to ask:

"How do you tune a rubber chicken...?"
