This new post election hate on Zohran is so absurd.

Andrew Cuomo:
•Lost the primary by double digits & still ran in the general
•Got two dozen billionaires to attack Zohran with vile Islamophobic & racist ads that incited death threats
•Mispronounced the name Mamdani throughout, even in his concession speech

But Zohran is the bad guy for saying he “never wants to speak the name Cuomo” again?🤔 Give me a break. Corporate politicians are the most fragile people on earth. Perennial victims.😐 smh

@QasimRashid Right-wing politics is built on a foundation of fear.
@QasimRashid wow, but can we expect nothing less than that cruel behavior from the far right? Kinda tracks at this point…
@QasimRashid Quite similar to the hate leveled at many of the women who dared speak out after Cuomo repeatedly groped them at work and made clear that their career opportunities depended on submitting to his sexual aggression. There is always a greater penalty for daring to oppose the white supremacist patriarchal social order, even mildly and politely, than for enforcing it with violence and vitriol.

@QasimRashid

Honestly I expect worse going forward, I'm betting we see some kind of staged criminal activity or something like that. I put nothing past billionaires.

@QasimRashid nothing wrong with criticizing islam. We criticize all religions and islam too is far from perfect.
@luupies @QasimRashid This is not about “criticizing Islam.” Do you even read things before you reply to them?
@MisuseCase @QasimRashid Oh I know this crowd... it's quickly racism, misoginy, islamophobia, so I was betting it was such again. If you have examples that are really islamophobic, feel free to make your case and I might even agree, IF warranted

@luupies @QasimRashid >> it's quickly racism, misoginy, islamophobia, so I was betting it was such again.

That answers my question about whether you read things before you reply to them.
