Adara AstinA question for men who used to have long hair but now wear theirs short: what prompted you to cut it? I'm really curious.
webhat@AdaraAstin I have long hair again, and the few times I've gone from shoulder or longer length hair to short has usually been something to do with taking care of my hair. (My hair is very curly and prone to tangle if not brushed daily when long.)
My beard goes from full to almost clean shaven 2 or 3 times a year. Usually it's shaved once it starts requiring major upkeep
@webhat Ah, so when your hair is long, you just wear it down?
I have only cut my hair (myself) once during the pandemic, but I tend to wear it in a ponytail, braid, or (most of the time) messy bun during the day to get it out of the way -- and prevent infinite tangles, too.
@AdaraAstin when is has just been washed it's a lush of curls and I wear it loose. And as the day progresses I put it I a ponytail. If I have the spoons I brush it with oil before bed and a can also wear it loose the next day.
