I’m actually rather concerned about this situation. This can only lead to more aggressive behavior from trump. This is not good.

Not what I’m saying at all. Mamdani is the best most qualifies and aligns with the will of the people.

Whaim saying is trump already has too much consolidated power and this won’t end well.

He has the left in a double-bind and this blue wave, as satisfying as it was to see it last night, is, I fear, not enough.

He’s already defying congress and the supreme court.

It’s great if this weakens him enough to remove his power, fantastic even, but I am not seeing it happening. Time will tell.

Last night’s results were a refreshing reminder how much of a lie it was that he had a “mandate”… I guess they only care enough to rig presidential elections. Lol.

The thing is, if Mamdani winning is “not good,” then what would be good? Is there any “good” thing the U.S. people can do, in your opinion?

We’re up against a fascist who’s already been aggressively attacking his own people. We have to be practical here. Overturning the old guard has to start somewhere. Any step toward resistance is going to piss off those in power, but isn’t that better than lying down and doing nothing?
