There are jets flying back and forth over the Oregon coast today, and not showing up on Flightradar24, meaning they're military, probably fighters. I wish I felt more confident that they were on "our side."

It's probably, hopefully, just the Air National Guard fighters out of Portland doing routine exercises, but it wouldn't shock me if it were a Trump-ordered "show of force" in advance of elections and because of protests, and that the processed-cheese-fool didn't realize that the famous Oregon cloud cover wouldn't allow 99% of people to know it wasn't just unusually routed airliners.

@jstevenyork If their goal is intimidation, the coast doesn't seem like the best place for those flights, unless they are trying to show the seals and sea lions who the real bosses are.

Hey, there are SOME of us real-people living out here! But yes, absolutely, assuming the person or persons making the decisions are entirely logical and making strategic decisions based only on solid and reliable intelligence, and say, not something they heard (or misheard) a talking head on Faux News say late at night that fired the random-impulse generator that dominates their tiny brain. For instance. Just as an example.
