@Gustodon nobody is going to disagree with statements like these, but we all had a FB account at some point and basically helped put him in this position. Stating something like this on a platform like Mastodon isn’t going to reach the people that need to be made aware I’m afraid? What else can we do 🤔

@tuxlife A surprising number of people on Mastodon still use Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp, for a wide range of reasons. I'm speaking specifically to those people as a reminder that, inconvenience notwithstanding, there's no reason to use any Meta product.

@Gustodon very true, although leaving WhatsApp is harder than you might expect here in Europe, it seems like everyone just does not care.
