I pushed up the exposure in Darktable to bring more detail out in this photo of a female Pacific Koel (Eudynamys scolopacea). The Canon R10 had obviously over-compensated for the bright background, and I'm not experienced enough yet to fiddle about with the settings when I'm just trying to capture a photo. (Post-prod suggestions welcome)

A pair of these birds - more often heard than seen - were courting in our backyard Cheesetree (Glochidion ferdinandi)...
