My twin nieces (11) are deep into D&D. I've run some sessions for them. I suspect I'll be leaned on to do this again over winter break, and am not averse. Prepping a game as crunchy as 5E is a lot of work. Since there are probably only two members in the party, off-the-shelf adventures don't work well. They're also more into picking up free stuff, befriending animals, and silly humor than combat and saving the world.

I'm thinking of running a one-shot in some other system. Ideas? #ttrpg

@peterdrake I've heard wonderful things about Land of Eem! Dungeon World might also fit? Maybe that's a bit more fighty than you want, but the narrative system leaves a lot of room for doing whatever you want.
