An update on using daggy wool as weed matting …

Most of the wool I covered with stones and it looks amazing. This plant just had wool open to the sky. Local birds have discovered it is perfect nesting material and have picked it bare!

Here’s a bit of couch grass that has fought its way through the middle of a tuft. I think I need to felt the wool this to prevent it. A lot of the other weeds and all of the grasses have been suppressed but couch is unusually persistent.
