Overheard my kids saying "Gooning" to each other. Me being of a certain age shouted "I love that film" apparently Gooning is not the Goonie. My two girls 12 and 16 were horrified and in fits of laughter at me.

@fesshole in my vague memory is that this was the teenage practice for drinking wine from a box - the bag was nicknamed the "goon bag" ... Australia in the mid-80s was a very cultural place ...

@jednc - Good question. I've heard of Goon as in the pope cartoons or a Bully. And now Gooning to sexually be aroused by the fact that they are addicted to porn and excessively masturbate.
