It's not really a government #shutdown if the police state keeps functioning. It's just federal workers not getting paid if the President doesn't feel like paying them, and federal services not being delivered if the President doesn't feel like delivering them. An actual, literal government shutdown would be better than this.

#AfterFascism we need to make so-called government shutdowns impossible. There needs to be automatic default funding if Congress fails to pass a budget.
