So I received my Ally Solo Smart Glasses yesterday. And sad to say, I'm a little disappointed with the glasses. First, the glasses feel somewhat flimsy, the sound even at 100% isn't all that loud. The Meta Glasses to me sound louder. Then when I went to test out the glasses, After 3-5 prompts, my Ally would get disconnected. Not the glasses but my assistant. Also, I thought a case for the glasses was going to be included, but that wasn't the case.
So now I need to find a case for the glasses. Now if I just imagined about the case and it wasn't ever mentioned. Then that is on me. And the other thing I'm not too impressed with the glasses. Was that they only shipped out with clear lenses. And yes, they did mentioned that on webinars. But I every time that had a chance to attend one. I would ask about the lenses and I know I wasn't the only one. They should have offered to include an additional pair. With a small additional charge for them.
For those who wished to have tented lenses. And for me at least who work for a school district. Dark lenses would help out so my eyes won't take away from the students when working with them. Since in the past, work wasn't getting done because the students would focus more and ask about my eyes. So now I ware sunglasses to prevent distraction.
Can't wait to receive my EchoVision glasses to compare them. I believe EchoVision Glasses may be more suited. However, I will keep the Ally Solo Glasses since they do serve a purpose with the costumized shortcuts. At least they have that going for them.
I thenk EnVision kind of rushed the glasses when AGIGA were about to release their own glasses. And if it wasn't for a fulty speaker. Their glasses would have already been out.
