@Lazarou The problem is that people in the UK have become convinced that civil servants are a bunch of under-worked, overpaid shysters who sit around twiddling their thumbs doing fuck all except when they get handed fat brown envelopes, in much the same way that Boris "spaffer" Johnson convinced people that the EU wanted to straighten their bananas. A significant percentage of people would cheer for this.
